Elana Gabrielle - Morning On The Windowsill Print
Made by Elana Gabrielle in Portland, OR.
Her prints are created using gouache, colored pencil, cut paper collage, and digital tools. Each one is mindfully designed and features imagery inspired by the natural world.
The prints are produced with biodegradable hemp fiber, chosen specifically because it is a fast-growing renewable agricultural crop. Hemp matures in as few as 90 days, unlike trees which are harvested for paper after many years of growth. Hemp also requires much less water, energy, and time to produce, and I love the texture and beautiful way it prints.
-Materials: Hemp fiber, recycled paper
-Use: Frame and hang - my favorite are light or white wooden frames. You can also hang with clips and twine, thumbtacks, small nails, or putty for a simpler look. Many of the prints work well as sets grouped together.
